Dear all,
For you who are criticizing Thailand based on the so-called "violence" in Thailand by many international presses in the past 2 days, let me give you my humble points of view on the matter.

I was born and live in Bangkok,Thailand for over 50 years. Throughout the past years,I
had witnessed quite a few coup de tats but they are nothing comparing to the recent tragic.

THE LAST TIME THAT THAIS ACTED VIOLENTLY AGAINST EACH OTHER WAS OVER 200 YEARS AGO;WHEN WE LOST OUR OLD CAPITAL TO BURMA. NOT THAT THEY WERE MUCH STRONGER THAN US,BUT IT WAS THE THAIS OURSELVES THAT LOST UNITY AND CORRUPTED BY WEALTH
PROMISED BY THE ENEMY.

And the history repeated itself again. The Red Shirt Protestors who claimed that they rallied for the "True" democracy were in fact nothing more than street gangsters who used the opportunity to run amok and show their inner "animal" instinct.

It was a one-side attack by the Red Shirts. They repeatedly proclaimed that it was a "peaceful"
rally but in fact it was not at all.  Where else in the world that the "peaceful"protestors will crash one of the world's most important summit meeting of the country, knowing so well that it will ruin the country's reputation, tourism and economy for years to come,to burn down buses, to shoot at the innocence who disagreed with them,to hi jack the gas-tank trucks and threatened to shoot the trucks which if exploded, will kill thousands of people within 300 sq.meter radius? And if they were fighting for the rightness, then how come they were chased away by the real Bangkok people in almost everywhere they

The military was very patient,TOO patient in my opinion but I think they learnt the lesson well from
the past how the global presses will react on their actions. They shot their rifles in the air just to scare the Red Shirts away with no harm intended.. NOT A SINGLE ONE WAS KILLED BY THE MILITARY.

And last but not least, the real power behind the movement of the Red Shirts rally is the ex PM.
Thaksin Shinnawatra, who wants to come back to power again despite of all the crimes he committed.
Thaksin WAS a businessman and will always be. When he became our Prime Minister 7 years ago,he
declared his wealth of US$57 Millions. Then how come the new government siege his doubtful new
wealth of  US$2.18 Billions 2 years ago and also just less than a year ago the British Government also siege another US$4,000 Billions which he brought along  into their country without any notification?

Thaksin uses his wealth to corrupt the poor, giving them false hope and empty promises. Too bad
that we have too many uneducated in the rural areas who believe in him and blinded with the money he threw at them.

The one and only reason why he wants to come back to Thailand and back to power is just to reclaim the money and to clear himself from all the cases against him. He doesn't care how many people will die or injure during his fight.

As previously mentioned that Thaksin was and always'll be a businessman, what he's doing to Thailand is not different from when a ruthless one wants to take over a company. He will do whatever he can to discredit that company;devalue  it,demoralize the employees, destroy that company's image so that when it's at its worst, then he can take over that company at its cheapest.

IN THIS CASE,THE COMPANY IS OUR BELOVED COUNTRY - THAILAND AND ITS EMPLOYEES ARE THE THAI PEOPLE.  TOO BAD THAT NOT MANY PEOPLE CAN SEE THAKSIN AS HE IS. TOO MANY OF THEM WERE CORRUPTED BY HIS MONEY ALREADY INCLUDING SOME INTERNATIONAL MEDIA AS WELL.

It will always be light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully, one day soon Thailand will be back on our feet again. We,the people of Thailand, will do whatever we can to bring peace back to the country and sincerely hope that Thailand will come back to be the top tourism destination again.
